Also known as Cremorne Gardens, Charles Evans Reserve is a small reserve near the Yarra River.
It is a dog on leash park.

Shade cover for playground
In October 2011, a shade cover was placed over the Charles Evans Reserve to provide sun protection for children using the playground.
The framed structure with fabric provides 95%+ UVA/UVB protection from the sun.
Residents and park users were invited to provide feedback on the shade proposal in April and May 2011.
