With this in mind we’ve introduced new and improved ways you can pay a bill, ask a question or search for general information.

Did you know that there are six ways you can connect with Yarra City Council?

1 - Web

Council’s website contains a wealth of information and self-service facilities, as well as being a fantastic way to stay informed. Whether you’re looking for meeting dates, agendas and minutes, finding out the latest news and events or simply paying a bill, Yarra’s website is accessible 24/7.

Pro Tip: The search bar at the top right of the home screen is the easiest way to navigate around the site, or use the drop down tabs on the left hand side bar.

2 - Email

Have you got a question or issue that can’t be found on the website? If so, drop us a line at info@yarracity.vic.gov.au and it will be forwarded onto a Council Officer to action as soon as possible.

This email account is monitored Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (excluding public holidays).

3 - Social

Looking for the latest news, events and places to visit in Yarra? Join the conversation by accessing Council's social media pages to Like, Share, and Comment on all that is happening in Yarra.

National Relay Service

Yarra City Council is now using the National Relay Service. The teletypewriter (TTY) number (9421 4192) that appears on some Council publications is no longer available. 
If you are deaf, hearing-impaired, or speech-impaired, we ask that you call us via the National Relay Service:
TTY users phone 133 677, then ask for 03 9205 5555. 
Speak & Listen users (speech-to-speech relay) phone 1300 555 727, then ask for 03 9205 5555.
Internet relay users connect to the National Relay Service via www.relayservice.com.au and then ask for 03 9205 5555.

6 - Customer Service Centres

Visit one of our customer service centres where our friendly staff can assist on a whole range of matters.

Richmond Town Hall – 333 Bridge Road, Richmond
Collingwood Town Hall  – 140 Hoddle Street, Abbotsford
Connie Benn Centre - 160 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy

Council's standard opening hours are 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

 

Other Services


Out of Hours Contact Service

Yarra Council provides an after hours EMERGENCY response for urgent matters that cannot wait until the next working day. 

In the event of an emergency, please call 9205 5555 and follow the prompts. This service operates from 5pm to 8am Monday to Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Interpreter Service

If you would like more information in your own language about any of Council’s services, you can contact Council through an interpreter service. If your language is not listed below, please call our interpreter service on 9280 1940.
