Youth Services Holiday Program

Each school holidays, Yarra Youth Services offers a fun-filled holiday program for young people aged 12-18 years who live, work or study in Yarra.

Bookings for the April 2013 Youth Services Holiday Program are now closed.

Activities will be held from Tuesday 2 April- Friday 12 April 2013.

Please note: The program is open to young people aged 12–18 who live, work or study in the City of Yarra. Twelve year olds who attend primary school are not eligible for this program. They are eligible instead for Council’s Vacation care program.

Cost

The cost is $15 per day ($2.50 for Health Care Card holders) unless otherwise indicated. Lunch is provided on each day.

Activities

WEEK 1

Surfing
Tuesday 2 April
Learn how to ride the waves with this surfing lesson from a pro!
VENUE: Ocean Grove
PICK–UPS:
Richmond: 9.20am–4:30pm
Collingwood: 9.40 am–4:15pm
Fitzroy: 9:45am- 4pm
WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable casual clothing, swimmers, towel, sunglasses, thongs/runners and a change of clothes.

Horse Riding- GIRLS ONLY
Wednesday 5 April
Strictly girls only riding session. Giddy up!
VENUE: Uncle Nev's Stable, Plenty Valley

Bounce
Thursday 4 April
Fly high in the air and bounce off the walls at this massive indoor trampoline arcade.

Art Excursion - FREE

Visit iconic Melbourne art galleries and enjoy creative art activities.

Safari Zoo Ride
Monday 8 April
Go into the wild and get up close to the King of the Jungle on this African safari experience.

Ice Skating

Rock Climbing

Work as a team and challenge yourself to reach the pinnacle of indoor rock climbing.
