New/Damaged/Missing Bins

New waste and recycling bins

If you have moved into a newly constructed residential building, the owner or owner's representative (e.g. real estate agent) needs to request a new bin or bins by contacting Council on 9205 5555.

Damaged bins

If your bin has been damaged, please a request for a repair by contacting Council on 9205 5555.

Stolen/Missing bins

If your waste or recycling bin has been stolen or is missing, you will need to complete a statutory declaration form stating that your bin has been stolen or is missing. You can print out the forms below, or have one sent out to you by calling Council on 9205 5555. The forms can be faxed or mailed to Council, or dropped in at the Richmond or Collingwood Town Halls. Once your form has been received and approved, stolen and missing bins will be replaced free of charge and delivered the next working day.
