Food poisoning

If you have concerns regarding any of the following areas, please contact the Public Health Unit

  • food premises cleanliness, operator hygiene, structure
  • foreign object contamination of food - eg. hair, fly, glass (please retain the remaining food without removing the contaminant)
  • suspected food poisoning (please retain any remaining food by wrapping in clean plastic and storing in the fridge. You will be asked to explain your symptoms, onset times and food history. Please report as soon as possible to allow effective follow up)
