Family & Children
The City of Yarra provides a range of high quality services for infants, children, teenagers, and families. Council recognises that investing in the childhood years has many long lasting benefits to the community.
Each year, Council spends approximately $3 million on childcare service delivery and in providing community assets used by community childcare services. This contribution and service provision level is one of the highest in Victoria.
Council has introduced a Customer Service Guarantee, with 60 specific commitments, to improve customer service for the Yarra community. Read more about our commitments for Family & Children’s Services.
