Where can I dispose of my Christmas Tree?
The City of Yarra is providing a Christmas Tree drop-off service that will operate out of the Fitzroy Depot until January 19.
Yarra residents are able to drop-off their unwanted Christmas trees to the depot, where they will then be mulched and used in garden beds.
The Fitzroy Depot is located at 111 Queens Parade, Fitzroy North - Melway Reference 44, B2.
Drop-off Dates and Times:
Monday to Friday until 19 Jan 2007 8.30am – 1.00pm
Saturday 6 & 13 Jan 2007 9.00am – 1.00pm
For people unable to transport their trees to the Depot, a pick-up service will be available but bookings are essential. Residents can contact Council on 9205 5555 to arrange for their tree to be picked up.
Pick up Dates:
Monday to Friday 8 Jan 2007 – 19 Jan 2007
