Temporary closure – Collingwood Leisure Centre

The Collingwood Leisure Centre gymnasium (including group fitness activities and change rooms) will reopen on Wednesday 26 August, at 6am.

The Centre was closed on Thursday 20 August as a precaution after Council became aware of a damaged timber roof truss. The truss is part of the support system for one of the Centre’s main roof beams.

The pool will remain closed until further notice while further inspections continue.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to patrons of the pool and gymnasium. Our staff are endeavouring to contact all key user groups (including schools, learn to swim classes and swim clubs) to advise them of the closure.
