Eddington Transport Report - Community information session 

The State Government has asked for public comment on Sir Rod Eddington’s Investing in Transport Report.

On Monday 12 May, Yarra City Council is held a community information session to discuss the recommendations in the report, the consultation process and key transport issues affecting the east-west corridor.

The evening was attended by over 120 people and included presentations from Tony Canavan, CEO East-West Link Need Assessment and Chris Loader, Bus Association of Victoria, followed by public question time and workshopping of ideas about our transport future.

Eddington Transport Report
Council strongly encourages members of the Yarra community to make their own submission on the report to the Department of Infrastructure by mid-July. For more information on the report and consultation process visit www.doi.vic.gov.au.
