Cycling is an economical and environmentally-friendly form of transport suitable for all age groups. It is a great way to get around, explore your neighbourhood, visit friends and to maintain mobility. On a bicycle you can go anywhere - and you don't have to worry about parking!
The City of Yarra has the highest level of cycling of any municipality in Victoria. Bicycle Victoria has also praised the City of Yarra for its expenditure on bicycle infrastructure
To check out your cycling options why not have a look at the City of Yarra TravelSmart Map to work out the best way to get around on your bike. The City of Yarra TravelSmart map was developed by the Department of Transport and the City of Yarra to provide sustainable transport information on a pocket-sized street map. © State of Victoria 2009.
