Collingwood Town Hall precinct UDF

Council has prepared a draft Urban Design Framework (UDF) for the precinct surrounding the Collingwood Town Hall to guide future development in the area and identify opportunities to enhance civic and community facilities.

Most of the land within the precinct is public land owned by Yarra City Council, whilst the remainder is in private ownership. A significant amount of the land is underdeveloped or vacant, offering considerable potential for development which would enliven the precinct.

A fact sheet has also been prepared, to provide extra information about the draft UDF.
This draft UDF was on public exhibition for a month, until 15 May 2009 and Council invited the community to provide feedback. Council officers will take these comments into consideration when preparing the next draft UDF for Council’s consideration for adoption.
