Amendment C103 – Former TAFE Site, 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood

The former TAFE site in Johnston Street has been vacant for a number of years. The Department of Industry Innovation and Regional Development (DIIRD) has declared the site is now surplus to their needs, and has requested that this site be rezoned so the site can be used for purposes other than a TAFE.

Amendment C103 to the Yarra Planning Scheme proposes to rezone the former Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE site at 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood, from a Public Use Zone 2 (Education) to a Mixed Use Zone, apply built form controls to the site (Design and Development Overlay), and apply an Environmental Audit Overlay.

Submissions received during the public exhibition of this Amendment are currently being considered.
