Building services

Whether you are planning to undertake a small change to your home, such as putting up a fence or extending your house, or have a large development project, such as building a block of units, you must have a building permit.

The building permit process is in place to ensure that any construction work conducted in Yarra is suitable, and most importantly, safe. Building permits can be obtained from Council or from a private building surveyor.
