Richmond Library closure - Air-conditioning & heating upgrade works
The air-conditioning and heating system upgrade at Richmond Library will involve the complete removal and replacement of the plant and facilities throughout the Richmond Library building.
Stage two: late January – mid March 2008
The library will be open.
There will be some disruption to other services.
Replacement of the ducts and systems. This will occur in the ceilings and the boiler room. This will have minimal impact on services, except there will be no cooling or air movement provided by the system.
Yarra City Council apologises for the inconvenience this may cause.
However, the upgrade will result in a more comfortable environment for
patrons, other services and staff.
