As of November 2008 you are now able to reserve items at other Swift libraries yourself via the catalogue. Note that holds cannot be placed on school, TAFE and other special collections in other Swift Libraries:
If the item is unavailable at any of the Swift Libraries, then check public and academic Libraries Australia wide through the Libraries Australia catalogue. If you locate the item, and you wish to place an Inter Library Loan request for it, then please copy the details onto our online ILL form
Please note that we cannot request books that have been published within the last twelve months, however you can recommend recently published items by using our recommendation form.
Limits and charges may apply. A standard charge of $14.00 (GST inclusive) will apply for any items that incur a direct charge, usually those which are requested from university or special libraries.

Loan Request - Journal Article
Items will take at least four weeks to arrive and you will be notified when they are ready for you to pick up. All requests will be responded to.
Renewal of your Inter Library Loan is not automatic. You will need to apply for a renewal no less than 7 days before the due date. Unfortunately, we cannot give you an immediate answer as we need to contact the lending library. Please check your online record or ask staff to check whether the renewal has been granted.
