OverDrive eBooks is a quick and easy way to access adult, young adult, children's and Chinese eBooks. It’s simple just follow the link to the catalogue, log in with your library card barcode and pin, download and enjoy.

Project Gutenberg
Access 400 of the most popular downloaded eBooks from Project Gutenberg through the libraries catalogue, including 65 Australian ‘classics’ from authors like Miles Franklin, Henry Handel Richardson and Henry Lawson.
Instructions on how to access this free service can be found here under the eBooks category. Access to these popular titles is currently only available from the Project Gutenberg site.
Music streaming
Two great new music products available for Yarra Libraries members from Alexander Street Press. Stream music videos and documentaries to your computer. No downloading. Just click on the links and select Yarra Libraries and enter your library barcode number.
Classical Music in Video contains over 400 hours of classical music performances and master classes captured on video—over 700 performances in all. The collection contains performances of all forms of classical music, including major orchestral performances by leading orchestras, plus chamber music, oratorio, and solo performances, along with master classes and interviews with master teachers from around the world. Coverage of musical time periods spans Medieval to the 21st century, and performances cover historical recordings from the 1950s up to the most current recordings today. These videos are streamed on the internet to your computer.
Music Online: Listening is a comprehensive and high quality streaming audio collection. It currently provides streaming access to over 900,000 tracks, including over 45,000 unique recordings. It incorporates American Song, Classical Music Library, Contemporary World Music, Jazz Music Library and the Smithsonian Global Sound for Libraries collections. These music resources are all available on a single cross-searchable platform.
Free music downloads
Free music downloading service Freegal is now available to Yarra Libraries members. Download up to three songs per week, including music from the Sony Music catalogue, in MP3 format and listen to them on any MP3 player (including iPods and iPhones).
There is no software to download. Just login with your Yarra Libraries membership number and PIN.
Over 3 million songs are available from over 10,000 music labels with music that originates in over 60 countries.

Bolinda eAudiobooks
Bolinda Digital is Australia’s top publisher of audiobooks. Bolinda eBooks can play on all MP3 compatible devices such as your iPod.
You can choose from latest releases from Australian writers such as Bryce Courtenay, Kate Morton, Mathew Reilly, Tim Winton.
It’s as easy as browsing, borrowing and downloading. You can listen to the Bolinda audiobook before you download or you can reserve an eBook if it’s on loan.
Library members can borrow up to four Bolinda eAudiobooks for two weeks.
