Computer and Wifi facilities at Yarra Libraries branches

Yarra Libraries offers a suite of computer facilities, including access to the internet, printing and word processing. Access to the internet and word processing are available to all library users free of charge.

ComputersWe have computers equipped for internet and word processing available for customers at all of our branches. Users may use up to one hour per day of computer time.

Bookings are essential

Bookings can be made in person or by phone, up to one week in advance and you will need your library card membership number and PIN.


Please notify us if you need to cancel your booking.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will forfeit your booking as the service is in high demand.

Please remember that if you do arrive late, you are only able to use the computer until the end of the booked session.

Non members

Non Yarra Libraries members can be issued a guest pass to use our computers, but will need to present identification.

User etiquette

The computers will automatically close your session at the end of your allocated computer time.

Users must not attempt to make any changes to the setup or configuration of the software or hardware.

Use is subject to our internet use policy.





WifiAll Yarra Libraries branches offer free wifi connection for your laptop or device.

Users can enjoy free wifi for as long as they like, during library opening hours.

Playstion 4

Yarra Libraries now has PlayStation 4 available to play any time during opening hours at our Richmond and Fitzroy branches.

Library members can book one hour a day to play, choosing from a range of fun and exciting games.

Bookings can be made at the front desk, or online.




PrintingPrinting is available at a cost of $0.20 per page.

We ask that you use paper supplied by us at all times in order to avoid paper jams.



PrintingPhotocopying is available at all Yarra Libraries.

eSafety is a Federal Government initiative to provide young people using the internet with help and advice on how to handle a situation that disturbs them, such as cyberbullying, unwanted contact, or offensive content.
The cyber-safety help page will allow you to talk to a counsellor, report cyber-bullying or inappropriate online material and learn how to stay safe online.
