Cybersafety Help Button
The Cybersafety Help Button is a Federal Government initiative to provide young people using the internet with help and advice on how to handle a situation that disturbs them—such as when they are subjected to cyberbullying, or receive other unwanted contact, or see content that is upsetting.
When a user double-clicks on the downloaded Cybersafety Help Button, it will open the cybersafety help and advice page to provide assistance to:
- talk to a counsellor about cyberbullying or anything else that is worrying or upsetting them
- report cyberbullying, inappropriate or offensive online material, scams and fraud, or unwanted contact
- learn how to stay safe online with tips and information on a range of cybersafety issues.
The Cybersafety Help Button can be installed on private computers and should only be downloaded from this site.
