Volunteer planting opportunities

The City of Yarra in conjunction with the Office of the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne Water and Conservation Volunteers of Australia invite you to leave legacy of care to our Yarra River corridor. Over 5000 Trees, Shrubs and Grasses will be planted in and around our municipality to create greater habitat values along our famous river.

The major Community Planting Day calendar of events are as follows:
Saturday 8th October : Loys Paddock
Sunday 16th October : Merri Parklands

Minor Planting and Preparation days will occur on weekdays:
Thursday 6th October : Fairfield Boathouse
Monday 17th October : Loys Paddock
