
Yarra Multisport’s new course, Strength Training For Triathletes and Swimmers, consists of six one hour sessions over a six week period. Taken by Gym Instructors with triathlon/swimming experience, each participant will be given an individualised training program consisting of periodised exercises specific to their sport.
The group classes (maximum of 10 people) will be conducted in our separate gym, with a primary purpose of establishing a strong understanding of proper technique, particularly activating the core, and of suitable progressions of each exercise that participants can incorporate as they become more proficient.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have a network of gym instructors with which they can book appointments for periodic re-assessment and amendments to their training program.
