Policies, strategies and guidelines

Yarra’s environmental programs are guided by several policy documents and guidelines.  The overarching guide is the Yarra Environment Strategy: Towards Local Sustainability, adopted by council in October 2008.  The strategy states objectives and targets for environmental performance by council and the community, arranged into 10 action areas.
