Waste

City of Yarra is recognised as an accredited Waste Wise organisation.

Over the last 2 years the Council have implement the program at our three offices in Richmond, Collingwood and Fitzroy and are working towards implementation in our Recreation and Child Care Centres.

Council already has in place a number of initiatives aimed at waste reduction and recycling. Through involvement in the Waste Wise Program we aim to build on these initiatives, and further involve staff, suppliers, and others associated with our organisation.
