communal Communal

Help us spread the word about those actions we can all be taking to reduce our impact on the environment.

Food and drink

Locally produced food that is grown in sync with the seasons is fresher, and it doesn't take as much energy to produce it and transport it to you.

garden Garden

Mulching your garden beds improves soil health while preventing water loss through evaporation.

Goods

By purchasing second-hand goods from an opportunity shop, you are supporting a charity, getting a bargain, and reducing the resources required to satisfy your consumption needs.

House

Water-saving habits are those easy-to-learn daily behaviours that can save us thousands of litres (and dollars) over our lives. So get with the program and save those drops that make the wave.

Recreation

Go hiking, bird watch, swim in the sea and simply enjoy nature and your connection to it. It's good for the body and great for the soul.

Services

Your investments may fund activities that are not sustainable and may be contrary to your ethics. Money talks, what is yours saying?

Transport

Fit, focused and firm, while also saving the world. What more can we say? Explore bike paths, cycle groups and ride any blues away...

waste Waste

By passing your second-hand or unused gear on to someone who'll use it, you are both reducing the environmental resources required to satisfy our consumption and helping others.

work Work

Join or create a work team focused on dreaming up and implementing schemes to reduce the impact your workplace has on the environment.
