Showerhead Exchange Program

To help Yarra residents conserve water, Council offers a permanent showerhead exchange program from the Richmond and Collingwood Town Halls and the Collingwood Leisure Centre.

Simply visit one of our sites to receive a new water efficient showerhead for free. You will need to bring:

Your old showerhead and arm
A water bill for your residence
A completed exchange form (available at www.citywestwater.com.au )
Proof of residency

The showerheads used in the program use as little as nine litres of water per minute, compared to old inefficient styles that use around 20 litres of water per minute. By changing over to a water efficient showerhead residents can save around a third of this water and reduce total household water use by 6-7%.

If you are unable to download an exchange form, you can fill it out when you come in to exchange. Residents may swap up to two showerheads per household.
