Council, with the support of the State Government has implemented various water conservation measures to a range of facilities across the municipality. These measures are designed to save more than 700 kilolitres of water per year.

Interpretive signage appears at these facilities, explaining the water saving measures that have been implemented.
Council has developed a series of Sustainable Neighbourhood Walking Maps which highlight these water saving initiatives. Residents and local school groups can guide themselves between facilities and learn about real water saving measures, while enjoying some light exercise, the environment and Yarra’s open space.
