Studley Reserve is a small park in Abbotsford, close to Johnston Street. It is a great place to take the kids to play on the playground.
Park upgrade planned for April 2012
As part of Council's program to improve local open space a minor upgrade of Studley Reserve is scheduled to occur in April.
The following changes are planned:
• Replanting of garden beds on the eastern and western edges of the park with low growing native species
• Replacement of the asphalt pathway with a concrete pathway
• Removal of the existing fence around the southern edge of the playground and replacement with a row of smooth boulders
• Relocation of seats to complement the new path alignment.
Works are expected to take up to four weeksto complete, weather permitting.
