Energy & Water Task Force

Energy and Water Task Force Project (Low Energy Supplies and Services) For households with concession cards living in the City of Yarra

On behalf of Sustainability Victoria, Low Energy Supplies and Services (LESS) is delivering the Energy and Water Task Force Project to a limited number of households living in the City of Yarra, where their main source of income is a government benefit. 

The project provides FREE energy and water saving assessments and retrofits to assist households reduce their energy and water bills, improve their home’s comfort, and reduce their household’s impact on the environment.

The assessment and retrofit is carried out by trained installers and, where required, may include the installation of:

• Energy saving CFL light bulbs
• Water efficient shower roses
• Covers for fans and wall vents
• Draught proofing around doors and windows
• Window pelmets or blinds

The offer is open to residents who hold either a current Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. Both renters and owner occupiers are eligible to participate.
