Air Quality

The air quality in Yarra is influenced by the Melbourne - Geelong airshed, a body of air that sits within and over the greater city area.  Yarra’s inner city location means that transport, industry, land development, commercial activity and residential activity can release pollutants into the air.   Information on different aspects of air quality can be found on the fact sheets below:
