Yarra Council boasts magnificant heritage Town Halls perfect for wedding receptions, concerts and conferences and smaller meeting rooms suitable for club functions, seminars and plays. Tables and chairs and other facilities are provided with hall hire.

Richmond Town Hall

The Richmond Town Hall built in the classic Victorian style was sensitively refurbished in 1991. This magnificent building features access by staircase and lift, bar and kitchen facilities and is conveniently located only minutes from the central business district. The Richmond Town Hall also features on-street parking and disability access.

Collingwood Town Hall

The Collingwood Town Hall is a grand old building with seating capacity for up to 800 people. This ornate building is classified by the National Trust, listed on the register of the National Estate and is ideal for dance competitions, theatre productions, large-scale exhibitions and fashion and warehouse sales.
The Collingwood Town Hall has facilities for disability access.

Capacity: 500 theatre style; 300 balcony (fixed seating); 450 seated (cabaret style dance floor)

Fitzroy Town Hall

The Italianate style Fitzroy Town Hall is one of Melbourne's most attractive and imposing buildings. Erected in two stages, it was opened in 1874 and embodies the highest standards of a style which epitomises the Victorian age. The ornate clock tower and the grand Corinthian columns and temple form, echo imperial Rome and present an unusual composition.

Conditions

• Set up cost/rehearsal time for all times is $54 per hour
• Bond is $615 (GST not applicable)
• Public liability Insurance cover $60 per function
• Functions must finish by 1.00am
• Facility is to be vacated and secured by 2.00am
• Should premises NOT be vacated by 2.00am, the hirer will be charged $220.00 per hour or part thereof.
