Terms of reference

The City of Yarra's Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) meets six times per year. The BAC's role is to provide advice to the Councillors and Council staff about the development of bicycle infrastructure in the City of Yarra. The BAC is chaired by a Councillor (currently Cr Gurm Sekhon) and resourced by the Council's Transport Unit.

The committee It is also attended by staff from other areas as needed including:

Minutes and agendas for the BAC are posted on this page. The agenda includes a network progress report which updates members on various projects aimed at improving the bicycle network such as new bicycle lanes, paths or other infrastructure.

Membership is open to any member of the Yarra community with an interest in policies related to cycling and the development of the City of Yarra's bicycle network.
