Yarra Volunteer Event 2011
Council held its inaugural volunteer event in May 2011 at the Fitzroy Town Hall.
The event celebrated the contribution of Yarra’s many volunteers who provide assistance to local groups and individuals in the community.
More than 1400 people, representing 84 organisations, were recognised at the 2011 event. The organisations are listed below:
