St Georges Road, Fitzroy North

St Georges Road is a meeting place for locals and a self sufficient shopping village. There are lots of interesting little bakeries and cafés which give the area a European influence. It houses one of the largest Italian supermarkets in Melbourne. People come from miles away just to shop and spend time in this village.

Make sure you have enough time to explore the area and appreciate the local architecture. This is one of Melbourne’s hidden gems so stop for a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.

Catch Tram No. 112 from the intersection of Swanston Street and Collins Street.
St Georges Road is 20 minutes north of the CBD.

Don't forget Brunswick Street, Nicholson Street, Queens Parade and Smith Street are just around the corner.
