Yarra Licensees' Forum

The Yarra Licencees Forum invites all Licencees within the City of Yarra to become members. The Forum meets bi-monthly at different venues and is facilitated by the Victoria Police and Yarra City Council.

There are a number of topics discussed and all issues raised are dealt with. The Forum recently instigated a Licencees Accord with all Licencees invited to be signatories.

Issues recently discussed included the new smoking legislation to be introduced in 2007, Risk Management and Emergency Management Plans for Venues.

The forum meets every two Months and is facilitated by Inspector Dean McWirther of the Victorian Police Licensing Unit.
