The City of Yarra supports over 8,700 businesses and a diverse population of over 70,500, in a small geographic area. The eclectic mix of thriving arts and entertainment precincts, vibrant shopping and café strips, neighbourhood villages, professional and personal services, manufacturers, health and community providers are a vital part of Yarra’s culture, community and economy.

Through the City of Yarra Marketing Program, Council’s Economic Development Unit, in partnership with key agencies, enables local businesses to sponsor events, become a marketing partner and buy into heavily subsidised tactical marketing opportunities in print media and online campaigns.
